A lifetime of social impact: A. G. Ranganna, pictured center, served as a counselor, teacher, advisor and mentor in the village of Agrahara. Even in his nineties, he continued to live alone in an open-air home without electricity or running water, cooking meals for families across the village by the warmth of his wood fired stove.
